The following is a list of neuron and Schwann cell component terms defined by GO. Please click through for more details including definitions. (Keeping these as links means that, except for additions and barring name and ID changes, this page will not become stale). To request changes or additional terms, please use the GO tracker (Sourceforge account required). Where a term appears to map to one used in the neuron registry curator interface, this is noted next to the term. At the end of the list are terms used by the neuron registry, but which have no obvious mapping to GO.

Note that some neurobiologists object to the word projection being used here - as this is loaded. Would never be used for dendrite.
